Utilities Billing PDF Print E-mail

The Town of Ladoga has four utility companies:  Water, Electric, Sewer and Storm Water.  Meters are read around the 15th of each month and a utility bill is issued by the 20th.  Utility bills are due by the 5th of each month.  If payment is not received by the 5th, a 10% penalty is attached to the bill.

Bills that are not paid by the 25th are subject to disconnection.  The Town will notify delinquent customers by mailing on or around the 6th of each month.  If the delinquent amount is not received the 25th, service will be disconnected.  No payment extensions will be granted and post-dated checks will not be accepted. There is a $15.00 reconnection fee per metered utility.

Homeowners and renters are required to pay a water deposit of $50.00 and an electric deposit of $100.00.  Customers moving back into town with “bad history” will be subject to a double deposit.  This deposit will be returned to you in the event you move outside the town limits and you have a zero balance on your account or by request if you have not been delinquent on your account for one year.  Otherwise, the deposit will be used towards the balance owed and any remaining will be refunded.
