CIRCUS will be coming to Ladoga Park on Monday September 14th. Midway Rides will begin at 6:00 pm. Elephant pony rides and face painting will also be available. Showtime; which will consist of juggling displays, aerial maneuverings and more will began at 7:00 pm. The show is expected to last about 1 1/2 hours . Tickets for the performance will be $5.00 for children and $10.00 for adults. This is the first circus in many years to come to Ladoga, and if successful, this could become an annual event. Four dumpsters will be placed in the parking lot south of the large ball diamond, for use only by Ladoga residents. The site will be monitored for illegal dumping of such items as: appliances, tires, antifreeze, cleaners, oil-based paints, acids bases, weed killers, old fuels, paint thinner/remover, rechargeable/lithium NICAD batteries, items containing mercury, computer monitors, printers, keyboards, CPU’s, laptops and hard drives, fluorescent light bulbs/ballast, adhesives, driveway sealer, motor oil filters, fertilizers, motor oil, pool chemicals, stains/ varnish, pesticides/herbicides and old batteries. Please be considerate, and if the dumpsters are full do not place items on the ground. The program aims to ensure that all Indiana families can afford a college education for their children.Income-eligible 6th, 7th and 8th graders who enroll in the program and fulfill a pledge of good citizenship to the state are guaranteed the cost of four years of undergraduate college tuition at any participating public college or university in Indiana. If the student attends a private institution, the state will award an amount comparable to that of a public institution.
